Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve tried therapy before and are still struggling. I’m a psychotherapist with over seven years of clinical experience and more than
15 years supporting mental health, wellbeing, and relationships.
My work is grounded in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps you understand and work through the emotions underneath what you’re experiencing. Rather than pushing feelings away or trying to “think differently,” we focus on making sense of your emotional responses in a way that feels safe and manageable.
My background in early childhood education shapes how I understand emotional development and attachment. Many of the patterns we struggle with begin early in life, and this perspective supports deeper, lasting change, not just symptom management.
I have extensive experience supporting trauma, including complex and developmental trauma, and I work at a pace that prioritises safety, trust, and emotional regulation.
My practice is affirming and inclusive, with particular experience supporting LGBTQ2S+ and neurodivergent individuals. I also offer sex-therapy-informed support, including conversations around intimacy, sexuality, and relationships in a respectful, non-judgemental way.
I began my career working with immigrant and newcomer communities, and as someone who has lived across cultures and within a multi-faith household, I understand the impact of identity, belonging, and navigating different worlds. My aim is to offer a space where you don’t need to explain or defend who you are.
If you’re looking for therapy that supports deeper emotional understanding and meaningful change, you’re welcome to reach out to see if working together feels like a good fit.
